We don't play many cooperative games, but this one is a fun one! The group wins or loses together so it's a good break from the competitive family busting games every once in a while.

This game has you complete a series of increasingly difficult missions. They start out very simple and progress in difficulty at a good pace for kids (and adults!). Setting up the first time was a lot to be introduced to, but then it becomes fairly straightforward. Easy enough for my tweens to pick up and hits that sweet spot of not being so challenging they give up, or so easy they're bored. One thing I think is fantastic is the flexibility--you could easily play some missions with fewer or more people, to adapt as necessary, and also start back at the beginning with the same or a different group and the play would still have the same amount of challenge each time--excellent, endless replayability! HIGHLY recommend!

This is a great game to start with a couple of you get gamers or a friend group that is new to gaming. It’s a cooperative game meaning the group wins or loses together. But this is built on a series of missions that scale aka get harder as you play along. Given it is meant for a family game that means it will be great for newbies to modern gaming as well. It will start off easy and get harder as everyone learns the game and how it works. I’m excited to play this once I get a regular crew together. A small box but a lot of play time as people will get together time and time again to complete all the missions together.

I haven't played The Crew, but have heard of it.I was going to give it 3 stars for being so simplistic, but I realized that there aren't many cooperative games that you can play one mission in a short time like this one, so it might get more plays than the longer games in our houseThis game is basically moving one rook around a 3x7 board. The individual missions tell you which spaces you have to travel to each round, and each player gets a random set of cards with the spaces on them. You can't talk out your plan, but you can use a special token to show teammates one card. There are special cards that let you mine diagonally like a bishop and L pattern like a knight. This will be fun for a few missions, then only the narrative will be interesting for older players and adults. But like I said the play time is short so it might hold interest for one mission.Recommend for younger kids, for those who want to learn chess eventually, and for just a quick play occasionally.

It's a fun game for families or game parties with repeat/consistent members. The game revolves around multiple progressing missions with various objectives. It's easy to learn and actually has video instructions you can watch on your phone if your not a fan of reading them.Something to consider:The game revolves around the SAME players continuing through the missions. This isn't a game for random players. Technically you would have people sub in but they would have to pick up in another players spot.I'm also not sure of the replay value since I haven't finished it yetIt seems pretty well made.
