Das Swift SW380T verfügt über austauschbare Weitwinkelokulare mit 10X und 25X, die in einem schwenkbaren Siedentopf-Head montiert sind (in jeder Position verriegelbar), sodass schnelle Anpassungen für verschiedene Pupillenabstände ohne Verlust der Fokussierung möglich sind. Die vier achromatischen DIN-Objektive – 4X, 10X, 40X (Feder) und 100X (Feder, Öl) – kombinieren sich mit den Okularen und bieten 6 leistungsstarke Vergrößerungsstufen zwischen 40X und 2500X. Die LED-Lampe sorgt für gleichmäßige, brillante Beleuchtung, die vollständig über das Dimmer-Rad gesteuert wird und durch einen branchenüblichen NA 1,25 Abbe-Kondensator fokussiert wird. Eine große mechanische Bühne mit beweglichem Objektträger ermöglicht es, das gesamte Gebiet eines Präparats zu sehen, ohne es erneut einspannen zu müssen.
Benutzer können ein zusätzliches Okular oder eine Mikroskopkamera (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) an das dritte Okularrohr des SW380T anschließen. I've never owned a microscope before so when this one came up for a review I jumped at the chance - I mean who doesn't want to explore the world in its tiny beauty! I was a little disappointed not to be able to get straight in and use it because of the lack of slides but, once they were sourced and delivered a few days later, I could then look at a few things in detail. It all works well and I soon picked up how to get the best out of it.It's got both 10x and 25x lenses for magnification. You need to move the brightness (it's got a wheel on the side for this) so that the image isn't too bright (or dark!). It's also got a colour filter which makes it look more like natural daylight.The fuse is easy to locate (at the front of the machine) and you get a spare in case it blows up.You can then change the magnification lens for the object you are trying to view and turn the wheel to focus. there are other fine-tuning adjustments for bringing better contrast to the image.Oh yes... you will have to change the dioptre settings also if, like me, you are short-sighted - or indeed long sighted!I've so far not been all that adventurous with my "models" - just things like grains of sand and wheat and stuff I've found around the house and garden. So, am trying to find things on line that would be more adventurous. Also, for me personally (as a historian rather than a scientist) I'm unsure as to my interest long--term in this apparatus. But that of course is just a personal thing.

I'm finding this microscope invaluable for my amateur interest in plant and insect observation, and I rate it as a good choice for students up to first degree level. At higher degree level and for research lab purposes I'd really be looking for a higher grade instrument, and expecting to pay more money for it.This is a trinocular microscope, the benefit of which being that a camera can be mounted on top while preserving access to twin viewing lenses. So, you can record live video commentaries of what you are observing, or capture still images as you work. This is invaluable for report writing, recording evidence, and taking notes. Unfortunately, this microscope does not come bundles with a camera module, and you'll need to purchase one separately.LIMITATIONSThe main disappointment I feel about this instrument is the gearing for the focus knob. There's a co-mounted course and fine adjustment knob, but they just don't seem to work that well on my microscope. It feels a bit rubbery and disconnected, and there's too much slack for my liking. It's inferior to the crisp, direct gearing on my vintage microscope. Fine adjustment is not as easy as it should be, particularly at higher magnification, and overshooting then undershooting is a bit of an issue. It spoils my enjoyment of the instrument, which is a shame. I think the focussing arrangement could do with upgrading. Also, I'd have preferred a storage case, especially for the objectives, and it's something worth creating to keep them safe and dust free. Plastic zip lock bags are not really up to the job. Do remember that it is bottom illuminated only, so you'll need to find your own free standing lighting if you want to top light what you're examining.In other respects, this is a reasonable budget microscope, and a great educational tool. It isn't a top grade research tool, but it's capable enough for undergraduates, and good value for money. I rate it a solid four star purchase.

After a couple of weeks of investigations, comparisons and reading through reviews, I decided to buy this scope to perform some hobby veterinary analysis. I don't regret this purchase at all. Image clarity is very good and the scope is versatile and easy to use. Would have been great if it would have been shipped with a case for carrying around...

Wollte mir für digitale Auflichtmikroskopien ein Mikroskop mit Objektiven zulegen, da ich bis dato ein USB-Mikroskop benutzte. In der Annahme, dass ein Mikroskop mit Objektiven bessere Ergebnisse liefern müsste, entschied ich mich für das Modell von SWIFT insbesondere, da dies mit USB-Cam geliefert wird.Wie die Bilder mit Okularen sind habe ich nicht getestet, da es mir primär um digitale Aufnahmen ging.Objektive:Das Mikroskop besitzt 4 Objektive (40x, 100x, 400x und 1000x) auf einem Objektivrevolver. Das 40x Objekt weist an den Rändern grobe Unschärfen auf, das 100x-Objektiv hatte in der Mitte und an einem Rand einen "verschwommenen" Bereich. Mit dem 400x Objektiv bekommt man gar kein klares, digitalisiertes Bild zusammen, weder im Auflicht- noch im Durchlichtbetrieb weiß nicht was da das Problem war. Habe alles mögliche versucht aber nichts hat geklappt. Beim 1000x Objektiv war wieder alles in Ordnung. Scharfes Digitales Bild.Die Objektive haben keine DIN-Größe und lassen sich daher auch nicht durch "handelsübliche" Objektive ersetzen.Tisch:Leider lässt sich der Tisch nur mäßig Bewegen sodass größere eingegossene Proben nicht unter die Objektive passen.USB-Kamera:Die Kamera wurde von Windows 10 problemlos erkannt und zeigt zwar den HD-Videomodus an, der jedoch nicht für die Fotografie greift oder den HD-Modus vermutlich nur interpoliert.Die mitgelieferte Software wurde daher gar nicht installiert und getestet.Auflicht:Die LED ist in Ordnung, es geht jedoch deutlich bessere. Sie eignet sich maximal bei 400x Auflösung im Durchlechtbereich, im Auflichtbereich ist eigentlich bei 40x Schluss.Das LED-Licht lässt sich mit dem seitlichen Drehrad stufenlos dimmen. Mittels Umschalter kann zwischen Auflicht, Auf-und Durchlicht oder nur Durchlicht umgeschaltet werden.Verarbeitung:Auf der Vorderseite des Tisches ein leichter Kratzer feststellbar. Auch im hinteren, linken Bereich des Tisches ist ein "klebriger" Fleck ersichtlich gewesen. Ob es sich um eine Retourware handelt oder ob schlampig verarbeitet wurde kann ich nicht beurteilen, da die Teile alle sauber im Koffer verstaut waren.

Esta muy chulo y divertido, pero cuidado con los tapa objetos(cuadrados de cristal) que son de cristal y si hacéis presión se pueden romper, no lo confundáis con los portaobjetos(rectángulos de cristal) porque son gruesos.
