Really good quality Speedo shorts. Thoughtful minimalist design, with simple unobtrusive drawstring and elasticated waist. Great fabric—stretchy, tough and not too thick. The red and blue pattern on the deep black fabric looks cool. Very quick to dry out, excellent for washing each time you use a bleachy pool. As with other Speedos, the sizing runs small so you almost definitely want to size up. Seems pricy, but could be good value if these are for you.

These Speedo Hyperboom shorts are okay. They dry relatively quickly, which is helpful after a swim. The fit is comfortable, not too tight or loose. I've worn them for both lap swimming and some casual pool time and they've been fine for both. The chlorine resistance seems to be holding up well, I haven't noticed any significant fading or damage after a few weeks of use.

Speedo Men's Hyperboom V-Cut Aquashort | Quick Drying | Training | Fitness | Chlorine ResistantThese arrived in what I can only really describe as one of those resealable sandwich bags, at least that's what it reminded me of.I ordered the size 34 but unfortunately, for me at least, these were way too tight a fit to be comfortable or functional.I would upload a photo of me attempting to wear them but I fear I'd offend too many people as well as most likely breaking some obscenity law or other.The wife tried them on and she's a size 8 and just over 5ft tall and they were even a bit tight on her!But everyone is built different and what doesn't work for me may well work for you.As they don't fit me I can't actually try them in the pool, which is a shame.I really like the look and style of these, very modern and eye catching. The material is thin and stretchy and they seem really well made, as you'd expect from a brand such as Speedo.They do seem a bit pricey to me for what they are, especially as these come in a different colour combo for about £13 less, so it does seem with these particular ones you're paying extra for a colour rather than a brand.
