I recently installed a 75 LB heavy bag on the side of my homeIt's at the end of a 2 foot bar and when the bag is hit, there is quite a bit of flex in the barTo help alleviate this, I needed a springThis kit is perfectI could only use the spring and not the other pieces due to height restrictionsThe spring and kit are heavy duty and it work perfectly in my scenarioAs you can see from the photos it doesn't strain at all under the weight of the bag itself, but helps alleviate pressure when struckGood value made well

The spring in this is nicely done. Very solid. The carabiners are black which wasn’t clear in the picture. They’re great, it’s just a little weird that they’re black.I really got this for the swivel but it doesn’t swivel. I’m not sure why I thought it would have. Naturally when you spin a saucer swing that is hanging from a tree branch on a nylon strap, the rope just twirls and eventually bunches up. When twisted enough, the swivel does an unnatural jump that is not relaxing on a swing. Really, unless the swivel is secured, it’s less friction for a nylon rope to twirl so I think my logic was flawed. If this was hanging off a solid connection, like a bracket screwed into the tree branch, then it would swivel…but I’m still not sure about that jarring jump.

Nice hanging kit. I especially like the spring. Some of the other hanging kits really don’t seem to be made for heavy bags and appear to have a bit too much give. Bouncy may be nice for a hanging chair or a hammock, but not for a heavy bag. Springs for heavy bags should have just enough give to absorb shock, but not much that it bounces around wildly or makes squeaky noises. I think this is likely to be what you are looking for, provided that your bag is 100 lb. or more. If under, I am not sure, but the spring might be a bit tight, and it may not provide a lot of movement or energy absorption.

Very easy to install Punching Bag Spring Swivel Hanging Kit with Carabiners. I installed a small punching bag on my patio for my boxing workouts. This Swivel Spring Hanging Kit is very strong and durable; it has held my punching bag for months of training. A++
