I purchased a similar cable from another seller but the z bend at engine was too big. Trying to make it work, it broke. Tried this cable, the z end fits great, but the plastic piece that fits in handle was about 3" short. I ended up drilling a hole in the handle. Problem solved.

First of all, there's nothing like original parts. That bring said one of our mowers is from 2004. This steering cable works like a charm. Doesn't last as long but very happy it's available. Great seller and product!

It was for a zero turn lawnmower. Fit was a little tight, but we made it work.
