Fresh and dry. Used on leg quarters and baked some corn bread. Very little ash after 4 hours run time. Two thumbs up...way up!

Ordered two bags. It took a little longer than I expected for delivery and the bags came two weeks apart. Still, way more convienient than taking the time to go to the store to buy. I will order my pellets this way from now on.

ORIGINAL IMPRESSIONS: Smoked chicken and pork, both looked awesome, but fell flat on taste. These pellets burn really fast too! So if you are using a pellet smoker tube like me, be prepared to try and fish it out when hot to refill the pellets, or get only a slight Smokey flavor.UPDATE:Now have a Pit Boss vertical smoker. Tested it by smoking some chicken leg quarters. Very tasty after 2hrs @ 250 & another hr just smoking, VERY TASTY. Will definitely get more of this flavor, also plan to try the Competition Blend & Hickory. Side note, nearly no ash to clean up in the smoker at all.
