These do remove a lot of metal fast...but unlike flappers or a regular grinding disc the backing material doesn't wear off . So when its worn down or loses the abrasive your stuck with the abrasive that's closer to the arbor , so your on limited space because the backing didn't wear off. I also noticed that it'll gum up around paint if you don't put alot of pressure on the disc. There nice with the vent holes in able to see the surface that you're grinding. They have a purpose in the shop, but due to the price I gave it 3 stars and they don't last any long than a lot of other disc.
