Old World Christmas Vintage Bear Ornament. 2.75 X 3.75 X 3.75. glass This bear ornament is part of the introduction to the new vintage theme with a finish to look like the classic mercury ornaments. The 2019 series focuses on a rustic forest theme which is also great for any cabin tree. The designs at that time were more simple had more shine from the finish versus sparkle from glitter. This style highlights the brown bear and features one sitting on it's bottom with it's front legs extended and looking off to one side. It has a mixture of darker and lighter medium brown color tones an antiquing frost for a wintry, rustic appearance.. All sides are nicely detailed. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkly glittered accents

Lots of detail on this bear, realistic looking, not like a teddy bear. The only thing is that it is dark in colour, and it was difficult to find a spot on the tree where it could be seen well, it still looked great, though

I purchased nearly a dozen newly-made, old fashioned blown-glass ornaments this past Christmas. Most arrived in great shape, beautifully packaged for safe shipping, made of a sturdier glass than their old-fashioned predecessors. THIS is the only one that arrived broken. It was not in the manufacturer's packing, but just in wadded paper with the bottom touching the inside of the shipping box. Amazon seller issued an immediate refund. So sad. Maybe I'll try again next year. It IS a lovely little bear with a personable face.

I love this ornament. It was just as I imagined. I probably would not gift it because it is brown, but it was perfect for my autumn tree and really looks like a bear. I have several wildlife ornaments from this collection and like the vintage look.
