I love that they are making a pet safe sunscreen, since most sunscreens contain NOT pet-friendly ingredients, but animals still need sun protection, too! I double-checked on the ingredients to be sure this one would not be toxic to my pets before ordering.FYI, this is a very thin formula that is easy to apply but I do NOT find it absorbs easily. It left a very visible white film even after being rubbed in for a good minute. That's fine if it works, but it does look a bit silly. Also, while the listing photos show a spray bottle, what I received is actually a pump bottle. Not a big deal, but it is different. It is also quite small for the high price which is my main objection.Overall this is a good, seemingly safe choice to protect your pets from the sun, but it does come with a premium price tag.

While this is not cheap, it is a good pet friendly sunscreen. My hairless cat is particularly vulnerable in the summer. This is something I can safely put in his hear, ears and a little in areas his shirt doesn't cover. I try to keep it from easy to lick spots- even though it's safe ingredients, I still way to prevent ingestion. It takes a minute to work in, but I definitely feel it's a good option.

The idea of a natural balm is excellent for pets and pet owners because of the protection it gives against heat related issues on their paws and nose and in turn pet owners don't have to take them to them to the vet. I like that this balm offers 50 SPF protection, according to the description. When applying the solution from the metal/tin bottle that it comes in, it has been easier for me to put it on my hand first and then massage it into their fur and skin. They seem to tolerate it pretty well outside of trying to lick it back off.One thing I am always cognizant, of when putting creams and liquids on my puppies, is that I don't let them lick their fur right after. I must use that same caution for this cream because it does have some potentially harmful ingredients if ingested. Other than that, it seems to keep their paws more moisturized. I don't put too much on their nose, unless if it's really necessary, because their noses are already pretty moisturized, and I just don't want it going into their nostrils.Update: From 5 to 3 starsIf you put this on while outside you are fine. Beware putting it on while still in the house. It will stick onto rugs like paint and yes it is very hard to get it out of those fibers without scrubbing with something like Dawn dish soap. That's what I used to get it out if a couple rugs. So while the idea is nice to have a sunscreen for dogs, something less chalky would be nice.

It’s a nightmare to put on our greyhounds!I’ve tried spraying it onto my hands then rubbing it in, and I’ve tried spraying it onto the dogs tummy’s, and it just doesn’t spread! They are left with a white blob! For the size of the spray it’s really expensive imo, but then to not be able to rub it in on their skin it seems a real waste of money.

Used this during a sunny weekend at the coast.Rubs in easily and didn’t seem to bother my dog’s nose or ears - no strong scent and no signs of sunburn, so I assume it’s doing the job!Good to have on hand for warmer days, especially as we come into summer.
