A perfect fit for my new Trek Marlin 7 29er which has a chain stay circumference of 2-7/8 inches over the 11 inch length where this sits. It's stretchy width wise and I had to stretch it attach the Velcro which give it a snug fit and should stay put. I worked with it having the Velcro joint to the outside then when attached, I rolled it around putting the joint inside and the logo out. Laying flat on the table it tapers over the length by about 3/8 inches. I didn't need the taper but it didn't matter as it stretched on fine and looks really good. I work with boat canvas and thought about making one of these but at this price it just wouldn't be worth it plus I wouldn't have the cool logo. I'm glad I didn't do the inner tube with tape or zip tie method. Not that I'm knocking it but I like that I'll be able to simply pull this off & replace it when I do a thorough bike clean. I'm doing this review as I've come here to order another for a spare.

Apparently "Jumbo 29er" means something very different to the manufacturer than it does to me. Got this to protect the rather large chain stay on a carbon fiber road bike. Even stretching this thing to its limit, it would not come close to connecting. For fun, I then attemted to use it on an old aluminum bike with small chain stay. Still a no-go. Unless your "Jumbo" chain stay is the diameter of a #2 pencil, then run from this product.

lo uso con un'haibike sduro allmtn plus 27.5+ è perfetta. svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro, assorbendo gli urti che la catena avrebbe sbattendo col telaio e rigandolo. un must have dal primo giorno.

Leider viel zu dünn für MTB schwingen totaler Fehlkauf und probieren kann man auch nicht vorher ob er passt da er so eingepackt ist das man die Verpackung vorher entfernen muss

This does what it says on the tin, and does it well, I've only given it three stars because he had to cut it ( I bought it for a friend) to get it to fit between the cable holder things on his focus mountain bike, that annoyed me, why pay for an extra large one when you don't need to, so check your bike will take the large size that it is beforehand, it's a large item...

An meinem BMC FS03 ist dieser Kettenstrebenschutz perfekt passend, da er leicht dehnbar ist und sehr guten Klettverschluss besitzt.Für den 29 Zoll Rahmen ist der Schutz lange genug und hat sich bereits bewährt.

Ob man so etwas benutzen muss ist sicher Geschmackssache, aber ich hasse es, wenn die Kette auf der Strebe scheppern und kratzen kann. Deswegen dieses Teil, welches bei meinem Sundance Hamilton II 29" wie angegossen passt. Schmiegt sich um die Kettenstrebe ohne zu rutschen bzw. sich andauernd zu verdrehen. Bei Bedarf waschbar.Ich würde es sofort wieder kaufen.

Ein Kettenschutz ist ein Kettenschutz. Passt hervorragend und legt sich gut an. Schützt den vollen Bereich und kann durch den klettverschluss gut gereinigt werde. Preis Leistung ist Ok.
