This is a great sturdy tripod with a nice carry case. It also includes a remote and cell phone clamp. The legs fold down and lock in for a sturdy base.

I am always looking for a nice little nightstand that is not too flimsy. looks good, and can handle my bigger, heavier lights. I think that this Koolehaoda light stand will work very well for me. I think that the most intriguing part of these lights, are the legs. There are so many ways that you can change the angle of the legs, things like hills and steps are no longer a hindrance to this light stand. Most light stands do not have this option. This stand is also light and compact, and it comes with a nice little carry bag. Just to let you know, the multi-adjustable legs are a great benefit for lighting, but they can also be a little difficult at times when you are trying to put the light stand away. Along with the carry bag, there is also a little bracket to attach a cell phone to the tripod, as well as a remote trigger to fire your phone. On the down side, my light stand also arrived with a directions book for another tripod....not really helpful for this one...which is probably just fine. Enjoy!!!

This became my second favorite travel light stand. Plenty of height, light weight, and versatile setup. Can hold a v1, 100pro, or any light that size with no problems.

This light stand is not a standard spigot size. A 5/8″ stud with a 3/8″ 16 or 1/4″ 20 thread on top is standard in the industry. The top of a light stand has a 5/8″ stud (read, five-eighths). All strobes and most lighting tools are designed to couple with this stud. This light stand is bigger and requires you to add an adapter to make it work. That is a poor design choice.If you can tolerate that error then the stand does a decent job of holding medium sized/weight lights.
