As I am a family historian (amateur) I often need to refer to maps of various parts of the world - and a 'hard' copy is essential when doing some searches whilst using the PC for the 'recording' family-tree bit!With a number of Irish ancestors, coupled with little/no knowledge of Ireland, this is already proving a welcome addition to my collection of data sources. Having the Gaelic and English place names is especially useful - given that many surviving records came from Catholic records which use Latin for family/given names and occasional 'original' spellings of place names.An excellent map which will get a lot of periodic use and which can be recommended to prospective purchasers.
