I bought this for use on the front calipers on our MAN axles as fitted to New Flyer buses. It lets me use my 3/4 inch ratchet on bolts I couldn't normally reach. It is intended for the 2 bolts that are captive behind the steering arm. It works for that. With all factory parts, it allows you to remove and install calipers without pulling the steering arm.Just be aware, I've found out aftermarket calipers are a little thicker, and won't clear between the bolts and the rotor, so I've had to loosen the plate/rotor mounting bolts to push the rotor out a 1/4 inch for clearance. The factory MAN calipers don't have this problem. I've had it for some time now, and as long as you always make sure the tool is fully seated on the bolts (sometimes factory paint is in the way) this tool should last a very long time.

First off I never do a user review on Amazon but this is something great to mention.I use this tool specifically for removing carrier bolts on buses without moving the steering arm that actually hides the bolts.having the 3/4" torx to help me bring my carrier bolts back to torquing specs make this tool special. My jobs are saved by hours worth of work.I have about 6 guys at work order this tool and they love it as well.I just wish they had a offset 24mm and 27mm version of this and guaranteed in the bus industry mechanics will purchase.
