Preußisch Blau ist unterirdisch schlecht, jedoch die anderen Farben halten was sie versprechen

The cysnotype paper didn’t work at all when put under the sun. I tried to wait longer, tried several sheets from the package (on both sides just in case)- nothing worked. I carefully opened the package in a dark room as described by the seller and put the items I wanted to have a print on it. It seems that the paper might have been subjected to direct sunlight under production or storage.

I believe I've tried every sunprint paper on the market and was excited to use these colours but also fearful based on reviews and previous experience with coloured cyanotype paper. Compared to other colour paper I've tried, the chemical here is applied well and doesn't leave too many streaks on finished prints. When prints turn out with this paper, they can be really beautiful, but I think I had an equal amount that didn't turn out well at all. There's definitely a learning curve with some of these colours!Of all the colours, the light blue made the best prints. Green and yellow also worked well. The red makes beautiful prints but because the paper is so dark, it is really hard to tell when a print is properly exposed and developed, and it's easy to ruin them.I would not recommend this set to anyone who is a novice with cyanotypes, as it requires some skill, and especially with the darker colours it can be hard tell exposure and development times. But I found it to be a fun challenge and am glad I purchased it.
