So I bought this as a last min little gift for my husband cause I wouldn’t have time to 3d print one or make a foam one. I had to do some work to this still. It’s a lot shorter than I thought, it is sturdy and made decently. Doesn’t just fall apart. Had to figure out how to put it together with no clear picture. The sheath is not very accurate the details and colors were wit off or wrong. I sanded down and tried to repaint it to be more accurate to her sword. I had to trim the seam edges on the foam stuff as well as touch up paint details. It was cheap so you get what you pay for. I would have modified it more but it wasn’t really possible. As I said this was just an extra gift I wanted to gift my husband.

The images of this item depict it as a much longer odachi of about 1.5~2m, which would be the correct type and length of sword, but the description states it is 32 inch blade, which is a shorter sword closer to a katana. So we're already starting off with misleading, self-conflicting, and inappropriate advertising.The sheath is made of very thin injection-molded plastic that is painted very poorly. The sword is shipped disassembled, with the blade in the sheath, completely unsecured and without any packing foam or padding, meaning that the tip shattered the plastic sheath and got itself stuck during shipping.Build quality of the sword itself is more than acceptable for this price point, but it is abundantly clear that they cut every possible corner they could on the sheath and the shipping packaging. The incorrect proportions of this sword also cannot be ignored, and I do NOT recommend it if visual accuraccy is important to you. I may revisit this seller for other products that are in more typical proportions.The fact that the seller cannot be contacted directly via Amazon leads me to suspect the seller knows they would be indunated with complaints if they did accept contact.
