The installation was easy, and it works perfectly! But it helps that I have a background in electrical assembly. You do need some skill holding the wires steady while putting on the connectors. I was surprised the enclosure is actually plastic instead of metal. But somehow it works anyway. The saved me a whole lot of hassle with replacing my cable that got cut, part of which is buried..

This saves time and money over replacing the whole cable. Everything you need comes in this repair kit. You just need to match up the wires by their colors (blue/white to blue/white, etc.) Don't forget to also to reconnect the ground wire. You need to put each pair of wires into one of the included connectors and crimp with the pliers. The same goes for the ground wire. The box has a seal around it and it gets great protection from the weather. You can mount the box on the post. I zip tied mine to the metal flagpole I have my antenna mounted on. This product is worth every penny, and in my estimation even more.

This product doesn't come close to fitting starlink cables. Do NOT waste your time and money.

We have a StarLink cable routed through the roof of our sprinter van, and the plug became corroded. Because of how the cable is routed we would have had to take apart more of our van than we wanted to to replace the cable. This solution allowed us to buy a new StarLink cable and splice the new cable into the old.Aftet following the instructions our StarLink started working again!I did add some silicon to the seems of the weatherproof box just to add some extra waterproofing.

After cutting my Starlink cable twice with the mower I used this to splice it back together then ran it through pvc pipe and buried everything. Was easy to use and have had no issues months later
