This was my first time making ornaments and I'm so glad I chose these. Very nice and will make wonderful gifts to friends and family. I actually had enough in the kit to make 25 ornaments which was great. I would recommend.

Small, delicate crosses are easy and fun for kiddos of all ages after a little bit of prep and instruction. I pre-cut the pipe cleaners and pre-shaped the crosses so the kids could just start beading. I also used 1/8" satin ribbon for the hanging loops and pre-cut those as well. I poured a small amount of glue into a little disposable sauce cup, with toothpicks to apply the glue as needed. This definitely cut down on the mess factor. Loved this kit!

These are lovely and so easy to make. In the kit you get three different types of beads: a pack sun burst beads, a pack of large clear beads and a pack of small beads. There are also white pipe cleaners. Having cut the pip cleaners into two different lengths, a longer length for the center part of the cross and a shorter length for the cross beam, you simply twist together and then thread on the beads. All of the required beads are sold separately so if like me you plan to make these to sell for charity, you don't need to keep buying the kit if you don't want to. You will also need a pair of wire cutters, some superglue and silver thread for hanging as these are not included in the kit. I highly recommend loctite perfect pen super glue as its so precise and you can apply it exactly where you need it.
