The end point of the rivetter pin is made of a harder metal than the rest of the tool, and that may be why this cheap tool managed to work on a high quality DID 520VX3 chain.For the price I do recommend. I don't know how many times it would work, but it worked for at least one chain while other tools failed without doing a single chain.

If you need to change your motorcycle chain and swap out a few links/adjust your new chain this will suffice. It’s not sturdy enough to stand up to anything more than DIY usage. I have removed links from a new (too long) DI-D gold chain and refitted with new front and rear sprockets. Unfortunately I bent one of the supplied pins in this kit. Could be me or more likely it’s medium duty and not heavy duty. It is the Value for money option but if you have 2 or more chain driven motorcycles pay more.
