Type D is the right type of flare for a Mazda MX-3 NA which uses SAE double, with a 45 degree angle.The pictures in the description give all the information you need to select the right type of flare. However the list of car brands can be confusing, some car brands are mentioned with different kind of flares, probably because they switched somewhere in the past from flare type even that might be a long time ago. So better not rely on car brand in the decription.Based on 1. the length of the flare, 2. the diameter of the pipe (usually 4.75 = 3/16 for normal cars), and 3. the flare type you can select the right type of flare.Flares itself are fine, steel and no problems with leaking.Don't be mistaked by the "DIN/ISO 1651 compliant" line in the description, this does not refer to the flare type but to standards for "tube drawing mandrels" whatever that may be.
