I wasn't sure about buying as there weren't any reviews. Excellent little shoes, might be a tiny bit big for the dolls my daughter has, but she will be delighted with them. Very glad we got them.

I ordered the set since my niece just claimed my Kaya AG Doll and wanted some "real" shoes for her (she only has the original dress Kaya came in). I unfortunately waited too long to decide on whether or not to order a different set of 10 pairs of more "dress shoes" which then sold out so ordered this set instead. I just tried all 10 pairs on my original Kirsten AG Doll - and unfortunately the white fur boots do not fit at all, they are way too narrow. the zippers work ok, though. Unfortunately the remaining 9 pairs also barely fit - it took me quite some time to try each pair on Kirsten, they are all v e r y tight. the best fit are the brown boots - they look great, the zippers work, and they aren't quite as tight as the remaining pairs. on the up side - the "canvas" ones have real eyelets, and shoe laces, even though it took a lot of wiggeling to get them on straight. the soles are different color/thickness of foam. the velcro on the glittery 3 strap shoes do not really work and are too short to go across the top of my Kirsten's feet. the bright yellow "crocs" are a very hard type of plastic, the strap at the heel does move but again the shoes themselves are just a smidgen too short/tight - I was able to move the heel strap where it ought to be, but was afraid I might rip them off during the process. I am quite disappointed as the intention was to use them for Kaya, as the description clearly states "for 18" AG dolls" - and I did try them out on another true American Girl Doll - but the shoes did not fit as well as expected. just a few more millimetres here and there could have made a real difference. At the moment I can not see my niece playing with them/ using them for Kaya anytime soon - she would just get very frustrated (and rightly so) at not being able to change her dolls shoes by herself seing as it took me, an adult, quite some time to do so. While they might very well work for all sorts of dolls - I find the title/ description 'fits 18" American Girl Dolls' misleading as I found them to NOT fit my 18" AG Doll Kirsten as well as one would expect, and I can not see my niece using them for Kaya.
